exclusively for COLLEGE OF SCIENCE & ENGINEERING STUDENTS
Most of these scholarships are for students in all departments - Biology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Computer Science, Earth & Climate Sciences (formerly Geosciences), Engineering, Geography & Environment, Mathematics, Physics & Astronomy, and Psychology - of the College of science & Engineering. If you have any questions regarding scholarships or special project funds for students (establish new ones, donate to existing ones, or apply for one), please contact Lannie Nguyen.

Scholarships for Fall 2017 semester

COSE Advisory Board Scholarships ($2,500)
for ONE to TWO graduate students in the College of Science & Engineering
Bruce A. Rosenblatt Community Service Scholarships ($1,250)
for FOUR graduate or undergraduate students who completed 100 hours of Community Service experience
James C. Kelley Scholarship ($1,000)
for ONE undergraduate or graduate student in the field of marine or environmental science
David G. C. Cassa Memorial Scholarship ($1,000)
for ONE to TWOundergraduate students who live in San Francisco
Kenneth Fong Biology Scholarship ($1,250)
for ONE to TWO undergraduate students with a declared major in the Department of Biology
C. Y. Chow Memorial Scholarship ($1,000 each)
for ONE undergraduate student with a declared major in each of the following Departments: Computer Science and Mathematics
Pamela Fong Biology Scholarship ($1,250)
for ONE to TWO undergraduate students with a declared major in the Department of Mathematics

for SIX to EIGHT graduate students in the Department of Biology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Computer Science, Earth & Climate Sciences, Mathematics, or Physics & Astronomy.
Robert W. Maxwell Memorial Scholarships ($4,000)
for TWO to FIVE graduate students in the College of Science & Engineering (Department of Biology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Computer Science, Earth & Climate Sciences, Engineering, Geography & Environment, Mathematics, Physics & Astronomy, or Psychology)
