INFORMATION FOR OFFICE STAFF

Safety in the Office

Accidents do happen in the office. Office workers often don’t realize the high incidence of injuries from slips, trips, and falls in office environments. Many computer and office tasks have the potential to cause strain and injury. Learn about the risk factors and how to work safely and comfortably. Review the emergency procedures in place and make sure everyone in the office knows what to do.

Office Managers are responsible for providing a documented safety orientation to new staff and student employees within 30 days of their starting work. See the menu at left for more information.
