AUTHORIZATION FOR NEW RADIOACTIVE USE AUTHORIZATIONS
You must have a valid Radioactive Use Authorization (RUA) to buy, use, or store most radioactive materials at SFSU. To apply for a new RUA, you must fill out the following applications:
Application for Radiation Use Authorization (RAD-A)
Enrollment Application for New Users (PIs) (RAD-B)
The Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) will evaluate your applications before presenting them to the Radiation Safety Committee for review. All use of radioactive materials must be consistent with our state license and other applicable federal and state regulations.
