INSTRUCTORS
This section provides information for faculty, staff, lecturers, and graduate teaching associates (GTAs) who teach lecture and laboratory classes in the COSE. Instructors are responsible for the students in their classrooms and must appropriately supervise students and enforce safety and operational policies.
Instructors who teach "wet" laboratory classes with hazardous materials can review more information about campus policies and protocols by clicking on the hazardous materials and laboratory classes links in the menu on the left.
New lecture and laboratory instructors are required to have some basic safety training within 30 days of starting work. This training may be provided by their supervisor, by attending a safety orientation or reading through a self-study handbook. Check out the safety training link at left or contact your department supervisor for more information.
