Special Insurance
|
|
University colleges and departments that sponsor a special event may contact the Office of Risk Management directly to determine whether special events insurance is required. Insurance requirements are determined on a case-by-case basis. Facility reservations, facility staffing costs, special equipment and/or infrastructure requirements of the event, and security requirements are handled by contacting the department owning that facility.
University Departments may contact the Office of Risk Management - Special Events Insurance Coordinator, Maria Garcia directly at (415) 338-2362 for further information on special insurance needs.
All registered student organizations must initiate contact with the Office of Student Programs / Leadership Development (OSPLD) at (415) 338-2171 for information and application for student event insurance purchase. OSPLD's offices are located in the Student Services Building, Room 105.
All other off-campus entities must contact
the Office of Events Planning for further information and reservations
at (415) 338-6141. All special events sponsored by outside
groups must obtain a special University lease agreement in order to use
any space on campus.
