The Office of Safety and Risk Management is responsible for those programs under the purview of the California State University Risk Management Authority (CSURMA): Workers' Compensation Insurance; Industrial Disability Insurance: Non-industrial Disability Insurance, Unemployment Insurance; and Liability. The Office of Safety and Risk Management shall also have responsibility for certain insurance programs, including Special Events, Property, State Vehicles, and Student Travel Accidents. The Director of Safety and Risk Management shall serve as the campus designated representative to the CSURMA Advisory Board.

What's New? The Office of Safety and Risk Management moved to the Corporation Yard, Suite 201. We're located on the 2nd floor above the Facilities Services Enterprises Department. Effective 7/1/2003, the University's Workers' Compensation claims administrator is Octagon Risk Services. Please select the Workers' Compensation web pages above for address and contact information.
