The San Francisco State University Retirement Association welcomes contributions to support the Travel Grants Program. The Retirement Association awards grants to faculty and staff for career-related travel with emphasis on travel related to professional development. Applications (typically more than 40) are reviewed and award recipients are selected annually by the Travel Grants Committee based on merit. This continues to be a highly successful program that provides critically needed support to faculty and staff, especially given the severe reductions in funding from the State in the last few years. The number of grants awarded annually and the amount of each award depends on the availability of funds.
