Assistant Area Coordinator (AAC)
Assistant Area Coordinators (AAC) live and work in our community. Assistant Area Coordinator provide programmatic support to the Resident Assistant staff in efforts to provide outside the class learning through educational and social programs. They also work to build and maintain relationships with the university’s faculty and academic support staff.
AACs also have the opportunity to serve on departmental committees that are geared toward many of the larger functions and processes that annually take place in Residential Life. These committees have previously included Student and Professional Staff Selection, Staff Training, Diversity and Social Justice, and Assessment and Student Feedback.
