The Career Center helps students and alumni in developing, evaluating, and/or implementing self-directed career, education, and employment decisions and plans.

The Career Center collaborates with employers, faculty/staff, and student organizations to assist in the search process for part-time student employment, internship/co-op programs, and full-time professional employment.

Cesar Chavez Student Center

The Cesar Chavez Student Center is a non-profit auxiliary organization of San Francisco State University. SF State is an internationally known urban institution of higher learning located in an ethnically and culturally diverse city, whose student body reflects its environment.

The Student Center serves as a focal point of student activity. The Center first opened its doors in September 1975. Since its inception the Center has continued to evolve, lead by active student leadership in meeting the ever-growing needs of a large and diverse student population and the SF State campus community. The Student Center serves the student population by providing a myriad of services (e.g. restaurants, meeting rooms, conference hall, ATMs, transit passes) and programs (e.g. art exhibits, live bands, community based events) that are student driven and student focused.

LEAD (Leadership, Engagement, Action, Development) is a center for student leadership and campus activities. We support SF State students, faculty and staff by providing leadership development programs, student organization resources, and event coordination and consultation. LEAD facilitates transformative learning and student engagement, developing strong leaders and conscientious citizens within SF State's diverse community and beyond.

The One Stop Student Services Center is a single location where students can take care of a range of school-related business, all under one roof. DPRC (Disability Programs and Resource Center)

DPRC (Disability Programs and Resource Center)

Students with mobility, hearing, visual, communication, psychological, systemic (HIV/AIDS, environmental illness, etc.), and learning disabilities are encouraged to attend SFSU. The Disability Programs and Resource Center (DPRC) is available to promote and provide equal access to the classroom and to campus-related activities. Students are provided assistance in coordinating a full range of support services in order that they may define and achieve personal autonomy at SFSU. The DPRC also provides eligible students with help understanding and managing DPRC services, campus-wide access, attitudinal barriers, other campus resources, and disability civil rights.
