Wellness Workshops

Each semester, the department offers Wellness Workshops focusing on a variety of different topics. These workshops are designed to educate students and the campus community of the benefits of living a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle. Topics can include lectures, guest speakers, focus groups and fitness demonstrations. Upcoming Workshops

Wednesday, April 16, 2014 - 12-1 pm - Gym 149 - Yoga for Stress Relief Workshop. Feeling stressed at school? At work? Through the practice of yoga you will learn simple stress release techniques. This workshop, taught by Adair, includes breathing, mindfulness yoga and meditation practices to use whenever you need them.

Wednesday, April 23, 2014 - 12-1 pm - BH6 - Stress Release Workshop (Faculty/Staff Only). Feeling stressed at work? At home? Learn some simple stress release techniques; breathing, mindfulness yoga and meditation practices to use when you need them. This workshop is free and open to all faculty and staff. It is taught by Jacalyn White, Kripalu Yoga Instructor for SFSU Faculty and Staff. Jacalyn has been a yoga practitioner for 40 years and has taught stress release and yoga for 14 years.
