Student Organization Requests

Please Note: Due to academic scheduling and following SICC policy, facilities request are not accepted during the first two weeks of classes. Facilities requests must be submitted at least three weeks prior to the event date. In order to host events during the Fall/Spring semesters, classes must be in session.


Please refer to the steps below on how to reserve space in the Gymnasium and Outdoor Facilities.


How to Reserve Space at the Gymnasium and Outdoor Facilities


  1. Check for availability:

    You may browse the Facilities Calendar or simply Browse for Space on our event management system.

  2. Request Space:

    You will need to create a new account or log into your current account to request space. For additional help, click on the EMS User Guide.

After the Facilities Request has been submitted online, the request will be reviewed and a reply will be sent via email with further instructions. Submitting the online request does not guarantee the space is reserved or approved.


Note: All facilities have a fee of $15 per hour to cover an on-site building supervisor. Additional fees may be required for Campus Support Services depending upon request. If you have any questions, please contact the Campus Recreation Department via email at recsfsu@sfsu.edu.
