SF State Offerings
Campus Recreation strives to be inclusive of all SF State students, faculty and staff. The Adapted Rec. Program works to provide members of our campus community who have disabilities an opportunity to engage in fitness, wellness, and sport-related activities. Partnerships with the Disability and Programs and Resource Center and the department of Recreation, Parks and Tourism have aided the Adapted Rec. Program to offer innovative programming and educational resources. We encourage anyone with specific questions pertaining to recreational accessibility and accommodations to contact us.
Swimming Pool – Gym 121
Our indoor twenty-five yard lap pool has an accessible chair lift to provide an easy transfer from the pool deck to the water. Our lifeguards on duty will happily show you how the chair lift operates.
Strength & Conditioning Room – Gym 148
Our fitness center was recently re-done with newer more modern equipment. We have provided accessible pathways around each machine, so that everyone can use them.
