Pam discovered her love for collegiate recreation as a Human Physiology student at UC Berkeley and earned her master’s in Health, PE, & Recreation at Eastern Michigan University. Seeing students grow through working or participating in Campus Rec is something she loves about her job. One of her favorite workouts is to be on either of her bikes -- mountain, or road. She worked previously at Sonoma State University, has been at SF State since 2013, and served as a NIRSA Board of Director in 2015-16.

Ryan has been working in Campus Rec since 2008, and loves connecting with students as they meet their health and wellness goals. He loves reality competition shows, and his favorite quote is “Live life to the fullest.” He earned both his degree in Kinesiology and Adapted PE teaching credential at Sonoma State University, and masters in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism at SF State. He previously worked at the University of the Pacific.

Ben is a native of the Bay Area, and came to the Campus Rec Department in 2015. He earned his degree in Recreation from San Diego State University. He appreciates the opportunity to create positive impacts in the lives of those around him on a daily basis. Spending time with his family on the beach and surfing are some of the ways he enjoys his free time.

Mark began working in collegiate recreation in 2010 while he was studying Physical Activity/Exercise & Community Health Education at Portland State University. He most recently worked at Cal State East Bay before joining SF State in March 2017. He has an upbeat and positive personality and enjoys bringing laughter into the workplace. When not working, Mark enjoys playing a variety of games (board, card, video, etc.), participating in non-competitive runs, and spending time with his husband.

Chanda majored in Geology and minored in Math at Western Michigan University. She loves working with students and is an educator at heart. One of her favorite quotes is by Nelson Mandela: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” She is a sports super fan especially when it comes to football, wrestling, and hockey. Chanda has been working in the department since 2011.
