Text Box: SF State Community Sailing is a sailing program on beautiful Lake Merced in San Francisco, California. With close proximity to the Pacific, this freshwater lake enjoys the steady winds that have made San Francisco famous. Starting in 2003, San Francisco State University began offering summer sailing camps for youth through one of our partner organizations, America True. Our desire to enhance the community’s opportunity to sail, we began offering an enhanced sailing program in 2007 which includes week long summer youth camps, a youth spring break camp, and after-school sailing. SF State Community Sailing is committed to the education of sailing for all in our community. Join us, and let us help you realize the joys of sailing.
