Pacific Leadership Institute (PLI)

Pacific Leadership Institute provides quality leadership training to recreation professionals, students and agencies working in urban, diverse and underserved populations.  PLI is a training laboratory based in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies and affiliated as a special project of the SFSU Foundation.  It is managed by a Board of Directors representing municipal, parks and recreation agencies, non-profit youth-servicing organizations, educational institutions, state and regional parks and agencies specializing in provision of services to persons with disabilities.  For information on PLI or to make a reservation for a customized training for your organization call (415) 405-3737.

CORNERSTONE

A mobile leadership training program that comes to your
site!  CORNERSTONE is a component of TRUE.  Utilizing cooperative
activities, problem solving initiatives, and group challenges, CORNERSTONE strengthens individual and group communications, goal setting and problem solving.  It serves school groups, community groups, youth leaders, corporations and professional staff teams.  For information or to schedule a training call (415) 405-3737.

FT. MILEY ROPES COURSE

For over 19 years the Ft. Miley Ropes Course has
been open to individuals and groups, regardless of physical ability.  It is a
solidly constructed course strung from trees in Golden Gate National
Recreation Area, with a mission to build self-esteem and promote mutual
support, trust and collaboration.  It is operated in cooperation with the
