Now accepting applications to the graduate program.

The Department has developed this webpage to help persons who are interested in applying to the Recreation, Parks, and Tourism (RPT) Graduate Program

. The prospective student is responsible for meeting all university and department requirements by the application deadlines in order to be considered.  Students will not be admitted to the RPT Graduate Program unless they meet RPT graduate admission criteria. The basic application process is, at the same time, to:

  1. Apply for admittance to SFSU; and
  2. Apply for admittance to the Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Department Graduate Program.

Click on each of the following links for more detailed information on the:

and

2   Application Process for Dept. of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism.

You can apply on-line to SFSU, but you can not apply on-line to the RPT Department, rather you can see the requirements, as well as view and print application forms while on-line.  Completed applications and necessary materials must be sent on-line to SFSU and mailed to the RPT Department.

A summary of this overall process is shown in the flow chart below.  You might also wish to view our web page on frequently asked questions about admission.
