RAZA STUDIES PROGRAMS - A Brief Description
Raza Studies with an emphasis on the liberal arts, is a curriculum for the new millenium. It embraces as basic pedagogy a holistic approach to knowledge. Raza Studies draws from the behavioral and social sciences as well as the humanities and the arts. It applies useful knowledge from these mainstream fields to the study of Raza people's histories and cultures in the United States. We merge this knowledge with activism and advocacy committed to the self determination of our communities.
