The main feature of this sprawling
athletic area is Cox Stadium, the 6,500-seat stadium where our soccer
and track & field athletes vie in NCAA Division II competition. In front
of the stadium are two gyms, a pool, weight room and dance studios,
where students may sign up for open recreation, intramural or club sports.
SFSU's athletics program consists of 11 Division II
teams -- six for women and five for men. Students may attend athletic
events free of charge with an ID card.
