Peggy H. Smith Counseling Clinic
The Peggy H. Smith Counseling Clinic provides free individual, couple, or group counseling to registered San Francisco State University students during the Fall and Spring Semester. The clinic operates from September to May and is closed during the winter break and during the summer.
SF State students can make an appointment for an intake by calling 338-1024. Students may be seen for weekly counseling sessions during the Fall and Spring semester.
The Peggy H. Smith Counseling Clinic is a graduate training clinic sponsored by Counseling and Psychological Services and the Department of Counseling and is staffed by second year trainees from the masters program in the Department of Counseling. All the trainees are supervised by licensed clinical counselors from Counseling and Psychological Services Center.
The clinical coordinator of the Peggy H. Smith Counseling Clinic is Mary Cavagnaro, LMFT, Clinical Counselor with Counseling and Psychological Services Center.
