Do You Know About SF State's Safe Zone Program?

rainbow triangle with SF State Safe Zone Ally text

The Safe Zone is a voluntary program of trained faculty, staff, and administrators who come together to build support and a safe campus environment for people of all gender and sexual identities. Someone displaying the program symbol has completed a training concerning issues affecting students of all gender and sexual identities, and is prepared to provide resources, referrals and advocacy for anyone negatively affected by heterosexism and homophobia. Anyone seeking help can talk to and get support from a Safe Zone ally in a safe environment.
