Rella Lossy Award
The Rella Lossy Poetry Award is given bi-annually by The Poetry Center and American Poetry Archives at San Francisco State. (Every other year, the award is given for drama and administrated by the Theater Department at SFSU.) Established in 1998 by the Lossy family to honor Rella Lossy, theatre critic, actress, poet and supporter of the arts in the Bay Area, the Rella Lossy Poetry Award is offered in alternating years to poets nationally. The Award will go to three poets who have yet to publish a book of poetry. It includes a cash prize and publication of the winning manuscripts together in a chapbook. All rights revert to the author.
The Poetry Center is NOT accepting manuscripts for this contest at this time.
