Shuttle Service at San Francisco State

ShuttleThe San Francisco State Transportation Department provides free shuttle service to the campus community during the fall and spring semesters.

SF State Shuttle Relocated at Daly City BART Station

In order to improve the commute between the Daly City BART Station and campus, the University has worked with BART and SFMTA to relocate the SF State shuttle stop at the station. Shuttles will now stop in the first bus bay on the station’s east side (where the Muni 28 Line buses currently stop).  The 28 Line buses will stop just behind the shuttles, allowing SF State commuters easily to take either the 28 or the shuttle.  By co-locating the 28 and shuttle stops, commuters’ wait times will be greatly reduced.  For those arriving at Daly City BART Station via BART, please remember to take a free roundtrip Muni transfer, which is available inside the station just before exiting the fare gates. Save the return portion of the transfer to use on the 28 from campus back to Daly City BART.

BART parking garage is for BART riders only.

Daly City BART Express shuttles:

  • Monday through Thursday: 7:00 am to 10:30pm

  • Friday: 7:00 am to 7:15 pm. 

  • Schedule will be every 10 to 15 minutes.

  • Shuttles stops: 19th Ave. and Daly City BART ONLY

Passengers may ask for a ride to any of these stops during a time not listed, during the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F

At BART, inform the Campus Loop Driver which location you need to be dropped off at.  Also, if you need assistance back to BART or another listed location, arrange for return trip at this time or call (415) 338-1441.

All shuttles are wheelchair accessible.

Please be courteous to drivers fellow passengers. Form single lines at bus stops and keep all large items on the floor while standing in the shuttle. Due to saftey regulations drivers can not operate the shuttles if all passengers are not behind the white line. Thank you.
