Latest eNews: Summer 2014
Parent & Family Member Letter

Hello SF State Parents and Family Members,

I am pleased to present the Summer 2014 edition of the SF State Parent & Family Program eNews. Commencement is coming up and for some of you, that means your son or daughter is graduating.  Congratulations to you all!  For others, your student may have a year or more of college left.  Either way, it is my hope that this newsletter continues to fulfill a key goal of the SF State Parent Council, which is to provide parents and families with informative campus updates.

As a parent or family member of an SF State student, we value your assistance in academic recruiting, promoting fundraising and advocacy efforts, as well as conveying an important family perspective to key administrators in the University.

Why would you want to do this?

Your involvement with University affairs strengthens the campus community and statistically, the student of an involved parent or family member has higher academic achievement.  Staying informed and getting involved is an all-around good thing!  Look out for additional programming for the Parent & Family Program in the fall.
