What is the best way to get to campus?
To avoid heavy traffic, the best way to get to and from campus may be through public transit. The MUNI
light rail line M and the #28
bus from the Daly
City BART station both stop at 19th
and Holloway avenues at the south-east corner of campus (be sure to get the free transfer inside the Daly
City BART station for the roundtrip bus ride). For more information, visit SFSU's Parking and Transportation page or 511.org for help in planning your trip to campus. (Note: Transit links will be on a weekday schedule.)

I already went to Orientation and Sneak Preview, how is Welcome Days different?
Welcome Days has a different focus from both Orientation and Sneak Preview. Now that you will be going to SFSU, you need to be familiar with all the resources available to help you be successful while you are here. There are also activities that are tailored specifically to parents and students who will be living on campus.

Do I have to go to Welcome Days?
All students who will be living on campus are required to attend Welcome Days. All other students are strongly encouraged to attend. The event was developed for all new students (freshmen, transfer and international students) to welcome you to our campus community, as well as provide important information and resources.

Is there a difference between the first and second day of Welcome Days?
If you will not be living on campus, the most important day for you to attend is Thursday, Augsut 20th. This day has many events for all students and parents.
