Important Information About Transportation To SF State

Dear Students,

As we prepare for the beginning of the fall semester, please be aware of some changes that may impact your commute:

SF State Shuttle at the Daly City BART Station

Please note that SF State operates a FREE university shuttle bus from the main campus on 19 th Avenue to the Daly City BART Station! The SF State shuttle stops in the first bus bay on the station's east side (where the Muni 28 Line buses currently stop).  The 28 Line buses will stop just behind the shuttles, allowing SF State commuters easily to take either the 28 or the shuttle.  For those arriving at Daly City BART Station via BART, please remember to take a free roundtrip Muni transfer, which is available inside the station just before exiting the fare gates. Save the return portion of the transfer to use on the 28 from campus back to Daly City BART.

Shuttle service begins on Tuesday, August 23.

Parking on 19th Avenue

For those arriving at SF State via automobile and seeking to park along 19 th Avenue, please note that the SFMTA has made the east side of 19 th Avenue between Holloway Avenue and Winston Drive a no parking zone. Cars parked in this area may be ticketed and/or towed. Parking is available on campus. For more information see http://www.sfsu.edu/~parking/text/parking.html .

If you have any questions about these matters, please contact the University Transportation Committee at transport@sfsu.edu

Thank you and welcome back to campus!
