Diana T.Y. Chung Memorial Scholarship!
Attention All Readers of OIPNEWS:
The Office of International Programs is now accepting applications for the Diana T.Y. Cheung Memorial Scholarship for international students! This is the first (and only) scholarship specifically for SFSU international (F-1/J-1) students! Each year, two scholarships will be awarded (one to a new international student and one to a continuing SFSU international student) in the amount of $1,000 each. The Diana T.Y. Chung Memorial Scholarship will be awarded each fall to one incoming (new) and one current international student at SFSU. The scholarship is not renewable. The award will be in the form of check made payable to the student and can be used by the student according to his/her needs. Scholarship recipients will be chosen on the basis of academic ability, financial need and willingness to promote international goodwill at SFSU. All new incoming international students must be admitted to SFSU and be enrolled in a full-time course of study for the Fall 2011 Semester in order to be eligible.
