OIP Staff Hours from Tuesday, May 29 – Friday, June 1

OIP will open from 8:00AM to 5:00PM but there will be no advising and no letters/paperwork will be processed during that week. All document requests will be processed on or after Monday, June 4.

Emergency Travel

If you need to travel outside the U.S. due to a personal, family, and/or medical emergency during the university closures, please e-mail us at oip@sfsu.edu. Your e-mail should include your name, SF State student ID number, and the best way to contact you. You can still leave the U.S. without an updated signature on the 3rd page of the I-20. An advisor will contact you as soon as the university re-opens to provide immigration advice for you to return to the U.S. to study.
