The Office of Human Relations The Office of Human Relations (OHR) assists the University in fostering an environment that is welcoming and engaging for all people; that prepares and inspires its students for participation and leadership in a pluralistic society; and that promotes equal access for all to develop their full professional potential. To support the environment described above, the OHR provides a range of services. The OHR works with other campus offices to develop or revise policies and procedures related to human relations. It provides consultation concerning complaint and dispute resolution. In collaboration with other departments, the OHR provides educational programs regarding diversity that enhance campus climate. The OHR also insures compliance with university, state and federal regulations with regard to equity and discrimination. The OHR includes the Affirmative Action/Employment Equity Programs, and the University-wide Disability Programs and Resource Center.
