CSL Designation Policy

In AY 2002-2003, the SFSU Academic Senate passed the Community Service Learning (CSL) Designation Policy. This policy has two features that will greatly assist SFSU efforts at providing community service learning opportunities for students. First, CSL designated courses will now be identified in the Bulletin and Course Schedule so that students seeking a community service learning experience will be able to easily locate courses. Second, the policy provides a procedure for recording the number of hours served each semester on Official Transcripts. The benefits of having the hours recorded is tremendous since it will help SFSU students with future employers or admission to graduate programs.
