Last spring, President Corrigan commissioned the President's Task Force on Intergroup Relations with an Initial Focus on Middle East Issues on Campus Life. The Task Force has worked diligently over the summer to complete the Preliminary Status Report and Recommendations to the President. In order to proceed with the work of the Task Force, we are soliciting input from all members of the campus community. You are encouraged to convey any concerns or ideas you have regarding the Task Force's charge. You can contact the Task Force in a number of ways, for example by written letters, e-mail, or attendance at a listening group session. For those who wish to speak to Task Force members directly, we invite you to attend one of the listening sessions listed below. Any member of the community can attend any one of the listening sessions. At each listening group session, members of the Task Force will hear reports from as many individuals as time will allow. Individuals will be heard on a first-come, first-served basis. These reports are confidential and private, so each individual will meet separately with the Task Force listening group. Though the Task Force members will submit their notes regarding each individual's comments, the Task Force will not convey the identity of the speaker in any reports. We encourage you to share your views. You can contact the task force at taskforc@sfsu.edu or (415) 338-7922. The listening sessions are as follows: |
