The Student Health Service at San Francisco State University will sponsor its Seventh Annual African American Community Health Fair on Tuesday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the main lawn of the campus, located at 1600 Holloway Ave.
The health fair, with its theme "Embrace Your Health," is free and open to the community.
Community members can learn about healthy lifestyles and self-care services offered by various community agencies and S.F. State's Student Health Service.
Among the free services that will be offered are diabetes, blood, sickle cell, and glaucoma screenings; dental and eye check-ups; HIV testing; body fat measurements; and smoking cessation and stress management tips.
