SAN FRANCISCO, March 17, 2000 ---Preparing to go to college this fall? Take an early look at San Francisco State University during its popular "Sneak Preview" Day on Saturday, April 1 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. More than 3,500 students and their parents attended the open house last year.
Potential students and their families can take tours of the campus, learn about financial aid and check out campus housing options. Faculty members will be on hand to answer questions about the more than 100 majors offered at S.F. State.
San Francisco State University, located at 19th and Holloway avenues in San Francisco, is a comprehensive public university with an enrollment of 27,000 students. It is part of the California State University (CSU), the largest system of senior higher education in the country with 23 campuses and 340,000 students.
