Expert available to discuss "Unusual" Thunderstorms

Dr. John Monteverdi, professor of meteorology at San Francisco State University, has studied severe thunderstorms for the last 15 years and is recognized nationally as an expert on their characteristics, particularly within California. He is a certified meteorologist who conducts research on unusual weather patterns in California, including "tornadic supercell" thunderstorms, El Nino and La Nina events, and other Bay Area weather and climate patterns.
