Freshmen, transfer students advised to submit applications by Nov. 30 SAN FRANCISCO,
September 25, 2006 -- Prospective students planning
to enroll at San Francisco State University in fall 2007 are strongly
advised to submit their applications by Nov. 30. Academically qualified students who apply for undergraduate admission by Nov. 30 increase their chances of being admitted to SF State. After that, students run the risk of being turned away. Students should apply online, at www.csumentor.edu, to receive an admissions decision more quickly. Transfer students with at least 60 transferable units and first-time freshmen are eligible for admission. Fall 2007 graduate applications are due by May 1, 2007. Spring 2007 graduate applications are due by Nov. 1, 2006. However, certain graduate programs have earlier deadlines and require an additional application. For details, visit: www.sfsu.edu/~gradstdy or call the Division of Graduate Studies at (415) 338-2234. For more details on SF State admissions, majors and degree programs, costs, financial aid, on-campus housing and student life, visit: www.sfsu.edu/prospect, call (415) 338-2355 or send an e-mail to: outreach@sfsu.edu. Prospective students interested in on-campus housing are encouraged to submit a housing application before being admitted to SF State, as space is limited and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
