New membership program for people over 50 offers education, self-expression and dialogue

SAN FRANCISCO, August 5, 2003 -- Over 50 and ready to scale some new horizons? The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at San Francisco State University offers courses, conversations and forums that explore the next stage of your life. Unleash your creativity with courses in art-making and storytelling, take part in dialogues on politics and international affairs, and explore new and better ways of getting and staying healthy. Find out more—and meet artists-in-residence author Cyra McFadden and photographer Marcia Lieberman—at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute’s free open house, 3-6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 4, San Francisco State University Downtown Center, 425 Market Street (at Fremont Street), San Francisco.
