SAN FRANCISCO, October 24, 2002…With less than two weeks to go before voters go to the polls, San Francisco State University will be the site of one of the last forums for candidates in races for San Francisco Board of Supervisors and state office. Nearly 20 candidates are scheduled to take part in a forum on Friday, October 25 from noon to 2 p.m. in Malcolm X Plaza at San Francisco State University, 1600 Holloway Ave. The forum will be sponsored by Associated Students and the San Francisco State chapter of the California State Employees Association (CSEA). "The forum is an important effort to help student and staff voters make informed choices among competing candidates," said Marsha Adler, SFSU Director of Civic Engagement and coordinator of voter education and registration drives on campus. Following is a list of candidates scheduled to take part.
