Anthropology
On April 18, Associate Professor of Anthropology James Quesada completed a one-week teaching stint at the University of the Aristede Foundation (UniFA) in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Quesada and his wife, Nadine Khoury (an RN with the San Francisco Department of Public Health), taught a 20-hour section on physical and psychological trauma to a class of more than 200 second-year medical students and 65 second-year nursing students as part of a UniFA, Physicians for Haiti and Partners in Health joint effort. They also met with the former president of Haiti, Jean-Bertrand Aristede, and the former first lady, Mildred Aristede.
International Programs
Associate Director of International Programs Jay Ward presented at three sessions during the NAFSA: Association of International Educations Region XII Northern District Conference, which took place on Tuesday, April 1 at Skyline College. Ward chaired the session "Launch Your Career in International Education" and served as a panelist on the sessions "Community Groups: Costs and Benefits of Building Bridges into the Community" and "Grey Areas in International Student Advising."

Professor of Marketing Sanjit Sengupta coauthored the article "Radical Product Innovation Capability: Literature Review, Synthesis and Illustrative Research Propositions," which was published in The Journal of Product Innovation Management (Vol. 31, Issue 3, May 2014).
