Professor of Art Steve Wilson wrote the book, "Art+Science Now," (Thames & Hudson, 2010) which was recently published.

Counseling
Associate Professor of Counseling Rebecca Toporek was named commencement speaker for the Wright Institute, a clinical psychology graduate school in Berkeley.

Labor Studies
Associate Professor and Chair of Labor Studies John Logan was appointed to the city of San Francisco's Sweatfree Procurement Advisory Group, which ensures that the city does not purchase goods produced in sweatshop conditions.

School of Nursing
Director of the School of Nursing Shirley Girouard presented testimony at the Forum on the Future of Nursing Education, hosted by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Initiative on the Future of Nursing, at the Institute of Medicine on Feb. 22.

Psychology
Professor of Psychology Patricia Miller wrote "Theories of Developmental Psychology" (Worth Publishers, 2009), which was recently published in its fifth edition.

Recreation, Parks and Tourism
Professor Emeritus of Recreation, Parks and Tourism Ginny Jaquith received the California Parks and Recreation Society's (CPRS) Hall of Fame award at the CPRS conference in Palm Springs on March 12.
