Associate Professor of Health Education and Director of the Welcome Back Initiative José Ramón Fernández-Peña attended the Metropolitan Policy Program at Brookings on Sept. 20 where his report, "Building and Unlocking Immigrant Skills," highlighted the work of SF State's Welcome Back Initiative.
Labor and Employment Studies
Associate Professor and Director of Labor and Employment Studies John Logan contributed the chapter "The Dunlop Commission and the Failure of Labor Law Reform in the 1990s," which appeared in Labor and the Right (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2012). Logan also wrote "The Obama Administration and the Unsurprising Failure of Labor Law Reform," published in Rediscovering Collective Bargaining (Routledge, 2012).
