Assistant Professor of Biology Vance Vredenburg has completed the first major survey of the amphibian-killing Chytrid fungus in Asia. "Is Chytridiomycosis an Emerging Infectious Disease in Asia?" was published in the online journal PLoS One.

Elementary Education
Assistant Professor of Elementary Education Mina Kim coordinated a professional development workshop this summer at SF State for 16 preschool/kindergarten principals from Chengdu, China.
