Associate Professor of Design and Industry Martin Linder was awarded a 2009 Nightingale Award, which recognizes excellence and innovation in healthcare product design.

Holistic Health Studies
Professor of Health Education Erik Peper published, "Keep the cell phone away from your body to prevent electromagnetic interference artifacts and cancer," in the journal Biofeedback.

Professor of Management Sally Baack received the Curtis E. Tate Jr. Award from the North American Case Research Association for her paper, "Unauthorized Disclosure: Hewlett Packard's Secret Surveillance of Directors and Journalists."

Theatre Arts
Theatre Arts Professors Mohammad Kowsar and Joel Schechter facilitated the talk "Radical Theatre Revisited" and the San Francisco Mime Troupe on Nov. 1 at the San Francisco Main Library.

Urban Studies and Planning
Professor of Urban Studies and Planning Raquel Pinderhughes recently spoke at a green jobs summit in Los Angeles, hosted by the California Latino Legislative Caucus.
