American Indian Studies
Assistant Professor of American Indian Studies Robert Keith Collins is co-curator of the new Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian exhibit "IndiVisible: African-Native American Lives in the Americas." His research is also represented in a book of the same title published by the Smithsonian.

Chemistry
Chemistry Lecturer Jasvinder Kaur co-wrote the recently published book, "Food: The Chemicals We Eat."

Philosophy
Professor of Philosophy Anita Silvers was selected to receive the American Philosophical Association's Quinn Prize. The award honors service to philosophy and philosophers.

Social Work
Assistant Professor of Social Work Rashmi Gupta published "Perceived Caregiver Burden in India: Implications for Social Services" in Affilia: Journal of Women and Social Work, and "Revised Relationship Quality Scale for Caregivers of the Elderly in India," in Clinical Gerontologist.
