Two decades at SF State
A Dec. 13 San Francisco Chronicle story featured the Alexander String Quartet, SF State's quartet-in-residence, which is marking its 20th year at the University. Though the ASQ keeps a busy touring and teaching schedule, ASQ cellist Sandy Wilson said the quartet is aided by its strong roots in San Francisco. "It's so important to have a family and a home," Wilson said. "It's the touchstone that allows us to do what we do when we go away."
