At the American Anthropological Association (AAA) annual meeting in San Francisco, Associate Professor of Anthropology Mariana Ferreira presented a one-act play based on her research on the medical anthropology of diabetes; Associate Professor of Anthropology Peter Biella presented two of his recently produced ethnographic films focusing on HIV/AIDS among Tanzania's Maasai community; Professor of Anthropology Sarah Soh presented the paper "Alliance and Antagonism Among NGOs over Japan's wartime 'comfort women': a critical comparative perspective;" and Assistant Professor of Anthropology Cynthia Wilczak presented a paper titled "Method and Theory in the Analysis of Musculoskeletal Stress Markers." |
