Geosciences
Assistant Professor of Oceanography Tim Janssen delivered the presentation "Nonlinear wave statistics in a focal zone" at the American Geophysical Society fall meeting on Dec. 15 in San Francisco. 

Humanities
Humanities Lecturer Denise Battista delivered the opening commentary and served on a panel for a post-performance audience discussion after an all-queer" performance of the "Merchant of Venice" at the Exit Theatre in San Francisco on Dec. 9. 

BECA
Dina Ibrahim, assistant professor of broadcast and electronic communication arts, was recently named to the board of directors of the Arab Cultural and Community Center of San Francisco.

Theatre Arts
Professor of Theatre Arts John B. Wilson designed the set for the Marin Theatre Co. production of "The Seafarer," which played Nov. 13 – Dec. 14.
