Lisa Solomon, visiting lecturer in art, participated in a six-person installation show at the Koumi Machi Museum in Nagano, Japan. In addition to her installation, Solomon also did community outreach.

Katherin McInnis, a lecturer in conceptual and information arts, will be screening her video "a clear story" at the opening night of the Madcat Women's International Film Festival on Sept. 11. The screening, which includes an original score by Amber Asylum, will be held at El Rio on Mission Street at 8:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.madcatfilmfestival.org/programs.html#prog1
