How You Can Help
Whether you are a student, a parent, a graduate, a faculty member, staff member or friend of the University, you can help San Francisco State University and the California State University at this critical time. We need you to be the voice of SF State -- to let California’s legislators know how this University has made a difference to you, to our region and to our state.
The best way to do this is to write your elected officials and urge them to maintain the Compact between the state and the CSU by restoring the $386 million cut that is currently in the Governor’s proposed budget. Without these funds, fee increases are likely, as are many other reductions.
Contact information for SF State’s legislative representatives follows below. But this is a CSU-wide problem, and all legislators are involved. Go to the California State University Web site http://www.calstate.edu/air/csuleg.shtml to identify legislators statewide and find out how to contact them.
