Campus-wide power outage

April 19, 2011, 9:25 a.m.. -- Power was restored to the campus on the evening of April 18. The University is in full session.

April 18, 2011, 3:20 p.m. --- PG&E has revised its estimate and is not sure when power will be restored.. All classes on the main campus scheduled to begin today at 4 p.m. or later are cancelled. The Downtown Campus is not affected.

Most business offices will remain open until their usual closing time. One Stop will close at 5 pm. Staff should check with their immediate supervisor for specific instructions. 

April 18, 2011,12:10 p.m. -- Most campus buildings are without electrical power, due to a PG&E regional power shutdown, affecting approximately 2400 customers.

PG&E expects to restore power at 1:15 p.m. Any faculty who need to make alternative arrangements for a class should contact their chair and/or dean.
