Hundreds receive H1N1 flu vaccine on campus

February 26, 2010 -- More than 400 SF State students, faculty and staff received H1N1 shots on Feb. 18 and Feb. 23 through an event organized by the School of Nursing, Student Health Services, University Housing and the Department of Health Education.

The event, held in the Seven Hills Conference Center, offered free H1N1 vaccinations to the SF State community. Twenty level-four public health nursing students administered the vaccines as part of their clinical training. Four recent graduates from the School of Nursing served as team leaders at the clinic, performing assessments and directing vaccine recipients.
