Spring registration begins Dec. 9

December 2, 2005

Kanye West turned his "Late Registration" into one of the most popular and critically acclaimed albums of 2005. SFSU officials, however, don't believe that students will enjoy such paths to success by registering late for classes. Students -- who were notified last month that spring 2006 course registration begins Friday, Dec. 9 -- are reminded to mark the date on their calendars and register promptly.

All essential information to get started with class registration is online, at MySFSU. Students should have their SFSU ID number and Personal Access Code handy for entry into the site, where they can find:

  • Registration Time: See priority registration day and time;
  • Fees: See complete fee payment instructions, fee amounts and deadline dates;
  • Holds: See any administrative or financial holds with links for clearing;
  • Academic Information: See academic status, student level and degree objective;
  • Class Schedule: See all courses offered for spring;
  • Announcements: get up-to-the-minute announcements; and
  • Need Help?: See where to go to get help by phone, e-mail and in person.

For additional help and information, students may also call (415) 338-2350 or visit the Registrar's Office Web site.
